Why Pakistan is on the Way to Great Progress & Major Growth

It is the logical cycle that is forcing the change. None of us can stop it even if we wanted to. The Politicians, Businessmen, Landlords who mismanaged Pakistan in the past 5 decades are now frail and old or getting old. It was the Destiny of Pakistan that made them send their Sons and Daughters to foreign lands for better Education. Today slowly but surely these much higher quality highly educated and trained Sons and Daughters are coming back to Pakistan. They are now taking up key decision making positions in Politics, Businesses and Land Development. You may or may not recognize most of them. They are very high quality individuals. I have met and know some of them and their work. I read about them.

i agree . i am a pakistani student in canada. My country is destined for greatness. If we dont look after it nobody else would. Being tossed around between work and student visa and being treated nothing more than a "revenue generating unit" for an average canadian, i have realized my own country is my country thats where i belong ,not here so i can be denied access to what canadian enjoys and i am forced to start my life at the very bottom of this prejudicial country.
There's nothing more exciting than participating in my country's economic growth and prosperity. I look forward to returning home.

With due apoligies, i think its more important to be realist than a day dreamer because of 2 reasons in this case. One: You forgot to mention role of army in destroying our country. Its not politicians who are responsible as you cannot name even a single country where politicians are not corrupt. On the other hand you cannot name even a single country which developed under army regime either except Ataturk. But then Turkey happens to be the only country which army itself liberated in 20th century. Second: Where in the world can you see development. If you see BMWs, cell phones and branded shops everywhere in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad does this mean to you that Pakistan is progressing ? More than 80 percent still dont have access to drinking water and 70 percent are without access to toilet.
